Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using SwingLab. By downloading or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use SwingLab.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SwingLab (the "App"), operated by SwingLab ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App in any way, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms.
SwingLab is a golf swing analysis application that uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI's GPT-4o Vision) to analyze recorded golf swing videos and provide users with scores, performance metrics, grades, and coaching recommendations. The App is available on iOS devices through the Apple App Store.
Important: SwingLab is an AI-powered tool intended for informational and entertainment purposes. It is not a substitute for professional instruction from a certified golf instructor. AI-generated coaching tips may not be suitable for every golfer. Use your own judgment before making changes to your swing technique.
Full access to SwingLab requires an active subscription. We offer the following plans:
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access until then. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods except as required by applicable law.
If a free trial is offered, unused portions of a trial period are forfeited upon purchase of a subscription. Only one free trial per Apple ID is permitted.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. You will be notified of any price changes in advance and given the opportunity to cancel before the new price takes effect.
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Your purchase is subject to Apple's payment terms. We do not have access to your payment information.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

When you record and submit a swing video for analysis, you grant us a limited, temporary license to transmit that video data to OpenAI's API solely for the purpose of generating your analysis. We do not claim ownership of your video content. Video data is not retained on our servers after analysis is complete.
You represent that you have the right to submit any content you provide and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.
SwingLab and all of its contents, including but not limited to the app design, graphics, user interface, logo, and underlying software, are owned by SwingLab and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand elements without prior written consent.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated analysis will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your individual needs. Golf swing analysis is inherently subjective and AI results may vary.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SWINGLAB AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR PERSONAL INJURY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Golf involves physical activity. By using SwingLab, you acknowledge that you are physically capable of engaging in golf and exercise. Consult a physician before beginning any new physical activity program. SwingLab is not responsible for any injury resulting from following AI-generated coaching advice.
The App integrates with third-party services including OpenAI and RevenueCat. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may terminate your use at any time by deleting the App and cancelling your subscription through your Apple ID settings.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page or through an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
